? A Bridgeport business owner is encouraging other African-Americans to ?buy black? this Black History Month.
Wayne Winston says he had the idea for a National Buy Black Day months ago, but became motivated to see it through after Coretta Scott King?s death. Winston believes members of the black community would benefit by supporting each other.
Clothing storeowner Julian Braxton agrees. He says his business has seen better financial days. He hopes promoting a National Buy Black Day will boost revenue.
