A couple of weeks ago, Milton Samms says he was just a chef at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Now thanks to an impromptu performance for News 12, he's an overnight internet sensation.
The 36-year-old is a proud Jamaican American who's been wowing hospital patients for years with his soulful cooking and now the internet with his soulful singing.
He describes his style of singing as a rich mix of rhythm and blues and gospel.
He says after News 12 posted his video on social media, he shared the link on TikTok and Twitter and quickly garnered thousands of views.
The Singing Chef says he hopes to get his own show on Netflix or HBO so he can open a rec center and help young people.
