A Bridgeport man was sentenced to 34 years behind bars after admitting to shooting and killing another man last summer.
Patrick Freeman admitted gunning down David Munford and wounding another man while they were sitting in a car on Bridgeport's East End.
In an emotional display, Munford's family spoke out in court today as Freeman listened.
While the judge had the option of sentencing Freeman to the maximum penalty of 40 years, he says he gave him 34 years because Freeman does not have a criminal history.
