Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim says a lawsuit the city filed is putting pressure on local utility companies to speed up repairs.

He says communities still without power, including Remington Street, are the city's top priority.

Ganim says while some areas are still without power, many communities are back online including apartment buildings where some of the city's most vulnerable residents live.

Officials urge residents to beware of downed power lines as crews work to restore electricity.
