Bridgeport police say more than three dozen people were arrested on charges related to domestic violence.
Police say they began rounding up the 38 people with the help of both federal and FBI task forces.
The arrests come on the heels of a state report that looked at 18 domestic violence deaths in 2010.
A court advocate says some alleged victims still have concerns for their safety despite the arrests.
