Bridgeport police hosted a physical agility exam for future candidates Thursday at Harding High School.
The demonstration shows recruits what they need in order to pass the physical agility course.
Current recruits from class 45 presented the exam.
They demonstrated physical exercises such as sit-ups, push-ups and a 1.5-mile run.
"Class 45 is currently halfway through their training and they have to do this agility exam, so I said why don't we do this a live demonstration for future candidates to see what the process is like," said Lt. Angelo Collazo.
Recruiting new officers is a major part of a new police agreement, which was signed by Mayor Joe Ganim last month.
