Bridgeport police made several arrests and a large drug bust Thursday at the same place where someone gunned down a young man earlier this week.
Authorities say they hope they are closer to finding Jawuan Green's killer. He turned 21 on Sunday and was shot to death Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened at the corner of Newfield Avenue and Revere Street. Police raided the Snack Shop, a business at the same intersection, and made multiple arrests and seized several boxes worth of drug paraphernalia.
Green is the city's first homicide victim this year. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call police at (203) 581-5100.
