Bridgeport police are investigating a fatal shooting after they found a body in the basement of a home Friday.
Bridgeport police spokesperson Lt. Jim Viadero told News 12 Connecticut that the shooting happened around 5 p.m.
The victim, whose name has not been released, is described as a 20-year-old male. He was found in his basement apartment located in a home across the street from Harding High School.
Police say he was shot multiple times and they are searching for two men who were seen running from the scene.
