A restaurant owner in Bridgeport is encouraging others with a new sign.

Above The Preference Spot on Main Street reads, "Never Give Up."

The owner, Stevenson Bruno, said he made the sign to encourage optimism during the pandemic.

"In spite of the pandemic we are going to forge on, we're going to keep pushing," he said. "I know the local community is behind us 100% and we will make it work. It's not in our mind to give up. We start something, we make it work"

Bruno is encouraging other small business owners to put up signs of hope on their property to remind people to stay positive.
