Bridgeport woman due in court Tuesday for Norwalk stabbing
Norwalk police say a Bridgeport woman is due in court Tuesday in connection to a stabbing at a home on Suncrest Road.
Officials say 21-year-old Jayde Williams has been charged with assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Officers say Williams allegedly stabbed her ex-boyfriend several times with a knife during an argument and then fled on Sunday evening.
The 22-year-old victim, who shares a child with Williams, was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Norwalk detectives say prior to the stabbing the suspect allegedly created a disturbance at another home on the same street, breaking glass that struck a child.
That child is reportedly OK.
Williams was being held on a $10,000 bond but bonded herself out.
