A local British restaurant is preparing for a celebration they'll be hosting this weekend as King Charles III becomes king of England.
Gruel Britannia in Fairfield will be opening one hour earlier than usual on Saturday because of King Charles' coronation.
Owner Karen Hubrich wants to celebrate in British fashion.
"We have in England these street parties and that's what I'm going to do here in this parking lot," she said.
On Saturday, the place will be filled with picnic tables, and a television for people to come and watch the coronation.
The day will start with breakfast, afternoon teas and lunches and end with a formal three-course-dinner and a coronation cake.
