Business owners in the Byram section of Greenwich say their bottom lines are being hurt by a lack of parking, and they're looking to the town for help.
A meeting was held Wednesday with those business owners, First Selectman Peter Tesei, members of the Greenwich Police Department, the Department of Public Works and the town's parking services.
Several store owners made suggestions to combat the issues they're facing. Those suggestions included adding parking meters, changing the times on parking signs and adding a parking garage.
Tesei says Wednesday's meeting was a step in the right direction for finding solutions.
He says he will be following up with attendees of the meeting in about a month.
