Byram mother looks for closure in 20-year-old murder mystery

A local mother, whose son was murdered in the Byram section of Greenwich 20 years ago is hoping someone can help put an end to her agony. Maryann Margolies? son Matthew was 13 when he was brutally murdered.

A local mother, whose son was murdered in the Byram section of Greenwich 20 years ago is hoping someone can help put an end to her agony. Maryann Margolies? son Matthew was 13 when he was brutally murdered. Police still haven?t made any arrests. Margolies said she left her son sleeping while she went to run errands. When she returned her son and his fishing pole were gone. After searching for her son, Margolies called police who eventually found Matthew in a remote area of the woods. Anyone with information about Matthew?s murder is urged to contact the Connecticut State Police. Related Information cold.case@po.state.ct.us
