10h agoPolice Chief Tim Shaw announced that Capt. Richard Conklin will be Stamford's next assistant police chief.
He replaces Assistant Chief Lou DeRubeis, who is being appointed to the position of public safety director.
Conklin has more than 40 years' experience in the Stamford police community.
Chief Shaw says an official swearing in will be held at a later date.
