Firefighters extinguished a car fire on I-84 today.
Fire officials say the car burst into flames at the off-ramp at Exit 5.
The Maybrook Fire Department was quick to get to the scene and put out the fire.
It is unknown yet if anyone was injured or how the fire started.
The fire happened near where a man was fatally shot by a state trooper earlier today. The two events are not related.
