The city of Bridgeport says it will listen to residents and plan to make major changes to the new parking meters installed downtown.
Business owners and customers complained after getting hit with $40 tickets for staying in a spot past the five-minute grace period.
Officials now say the grace period will be extended to 10 minutes and the fine will drop to $25.
The city also says the mobile app payment option for the meters has finally been launched.
