This week, Chef Patti Popp and owner of Sport Hill Farm in Easton shows Tina Redwine how to make farm-fresh recipes. 
Classic Tomato soup
Ingredients 
2 TBS extra-virgin olive oil
1 TBS butter
1 onion, finely chopped
1 garlic, smashed & peeled
2TBS flour
3 cups low salt chicken broth/or vegetable broth
1 24oz. Sport Hill Farm crushed tomatoes
1 ½ tsp. sugar
1 sprig fresh thyme
salt & pepper to taste
Directions
Place everything in a large pot and bring to a boil. Pour & serve with thinly sliced basil, chives or dill for
extra flavor.
