The Stamford woman who was mauled by a pet chimpanzee has hired two lobbyists as she waits for a state official to decide if she can sue Connecticut for damages.
Charla Nash received a face transplant last year after the chimp ripped off her nose, lips, eyelids and hands in 2009.
She wants to sue the state for $150 million, claiming it failed to restrict ownership of dangerous animals as pets.
