A Christmas Day fire caused major damage to a home in Greenwich.
The flames started just after 1 p.m. on Carpenters Brook Road, next to the Tamarack Country Club and Route 684.
Firefighters say the remote location of the fire also meant no hydrants in the area, so they took water from a nearby pond.
The fire started in the garage, and spread to the living area above it. There were no injuries.
