After a two-year investigation, police are now naming their primary suspect in the murder of a 23-year-old Norwalk man. Police charged 24-year-old Norwalk resident Anthony Rogers in the shooting death of Ricky Lee Blakes. The victim was shot near his Woodward Avenue home in July 2004. Police say Rogers is already in jail facing charges in relation to the murder of a homeless man in 2005. Blakes' cousin, Germanicus Edwards, says the arrest doesn't take away the pain of losing his relative. Edwards says he knows Rogers and isn't sure if police have gotten the right man off the streets.
