Connecticut communities celebrate Make Music Day

Seniors at the Baldwin Center in Stratford started the morning with some cardio drumming. Other events included a concert, karaoke party and a ukulele sing-a-long.

Communities across the state are celebrating Make Music Day Wednesday with several events.
 
Seniors at the Baldwin Center in Stratford started the morning with some cardio drumming. Other events included a concert, karaoke party and a ukulele sing-a-long.
 
The Stratford Library and Sterling House are also hosting Make Music Day celebrations
 
There's Make Music Day events taking place in Fairfield too, including performances at the Sherman Green Gazebo.
 
 
Make Music Day began in France on the summer solstice in 1982. It's now celebrated in more than 1,000 cities across the globe.
