Officials in several Connecticut communities took precautions Friday to limit the impact of Tropical Storm Fay.
In Stamford, officials weighed down light objects, cleared catch basins and kept close contact with Eversource and Optimum.
Eversource said to report downed wires to 911 immediately and to report an outrage on its website.
