The Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection has released the fall schedule for this hunting season.

There are a variety of seasons available this fall.

Starting Oct. 7 - Turkey season starts, and runs until the last day of the month. Pheasant and small game hunting season begins just a half hour before sunrise on Oct. 21. Firearm deer hunting season starts Nov. 15. The State DEEP recommends hunters wear extra clothing following a recent rise in mosquito born illnesses.
