Connecticut residents spent Friday digging out after the seasons' first winter storm dropped several inches of snow across the state.
A fast-moving winter snowstorm left 6 inches of snow in towns like Fairfield, where DPW crews worked tirelessly to plow roads.
The storm moved out by mid-morning.
