The Connecticut inspector general’s office is investigating a man’s death in a Norwich police holding cell.
Brenton Chambers was arrested and booked for drug, gun and probation violations. He was taken to a hospital after complaining of foot pain.
Chambers was then brought back to the police station, where he collapsed.
Autopsy results are pending.
