The mayors of Milford and Stratford, along with Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) came together at the Moses Wheeler Bridge today to call on Congress to pass bridge repair legislation.
DeLauro say that the Moses Wheeler Bridge that connects Milford and Stratford is one of approximately 4,000 bridges in Connecticut alone that are in need of some form of repair.
She says that the U.S. Senate has passed a bill allocating funds to the state to make repairs but the legislation is currently held up in the U.S. House of Representatives.
