WalletHub ranked all 50 states to see which are the best to raise a family, and Connecticut came in seventh.

It also ranked fourth for the fewest violent crimes per capita. 

Fun, health and safety, education and child care, affordability and socio-economics were all looked it. 

Massachusetts came in first place. It was followed by New York, Vermont, Minnesota and Nebraska. 

The five states with the lowest rankings include Oklahoma, South Carolina, Louisiana, New Mexico and Mississippi.
