Connecticut residents fear for family in Hurricane Harvey’s path
Although it was a clear, sunny day in Connecticut on Saturday, some local residents were worried about those they know in Hurricane Harvey's path.
Texas native Diane Colvard was glued to her phone as her aunt and cousin were riding out the storm in Port Lavaca.
Colvard says she also has other cousins in Victoria who decided to move to a shelter. She says flooding is a major concern because normally hurricanes don't last as long as Harvey is expected to.
Others with family in Texas say that technology has been very helpful for keeping in touch with those in the storm's path.
