CT Inspector General's Office: Orange police officer fires gun during encounter with suspect
The Connecticut Inspector General's Office says it is investigating an Orange police officer who fired a shot during an encounter with a suspect.
The incident happened just before 10 p.m. Friday night.
Orange police say the officer was involved in a violent incident with a suspect and fired one shot. No one was hit by the gunshot or injured.
The Connecticut State Police Central District Major Crime Squad is assisting with the investigation.
