Connecticut officials are joining New York and New Jersey's governors in defending and detailing quarantine powers enacted as a precaution against Ebola.
Gov. Dannel Malloy and the state Public Health Commissioner say that anyone coming to Connecticut after traveling to West Africa will face at least 21 days of mandatory monitoring.
Eight people in Connecticut without any symptoms are currently being quarantined. 
Another person in Darien was removed from quarantine yesterday.
