Election Day has finally arrived and many across southwestern Connecticut are heading to the polls to cast their vote.
State officials say power has been restored to all voting precincts except for two, which have been relocated. One of the two is Longfellow School in Bridgeport. Voters in that precinct should go to the AquaCulture School in Bridgeport instead.
After months of campaigning voters will make their final decision in the presidential race. President Barack Obama is in Chicago today, while Republican challenger Mitt Romney will make last minute campaign stops in Cleveland and Pittsburgh.
Polls will remain open until 8 p.m.
