The Darien community came together Sunday to honor Brad Goldman, who lost his life after a courageous battle with addiction.

Shatterproof teamed up with JoyRide Cycling Studio for a community fundraiser that consisted of a two-hour outdoor cycling class.

A live band provided the workout music. Organizers say they hope using wellness as a platform will bring people together and help end the stigma.

A yoga class will be held after the cycling class.

Shatterproof's "Stronger Than Addiction" challenge takes place at the end of September.
