Some commuters are avoiding the station due to its dangerous lighting problem. The Connecticut Department of Transportation told News 12 Connecticut some of the lights on the outdoor platform are for indoor use only. Local officials want the problem fixed but say they should not have to pay for it. First Select Woman Evonne Klein says the work goes back to the contractor and that there should not be these kinds of problems at a new station.
