Sunday marks 30 years since the death of Norwalk resident Evelyn Colon, whose unsolved case remains cold.
Colon, 28, was killed in her home on Ely Avenue with her two daughters sleeping just down the hall on Aug. 23, 1990.

Her 9-year-old daughter attempted to call 911, but the phone did not work. Police say it had been unplugged and used to beat Colon.
Colon's autopsy revealed she was shot in the torso twice.
