Town leaders in Greenwich are planning to change the number addresses along East Putman Avenue from the 200s to 600s, a change that's not sitting well with some people.
Emergency workers say the decision will help avoid confusion during emergency response calls, but business owners are upset about the change.
"We [have] to make sure that everybody knows our address because people call in or look on their gps [devices]," Chicken Joe's owner Joe Marini says. "We don't want them to go somewhere else you know."
Marini adds that the decision is on short notice and is not enough time for him to make the necessary changes.
