A man faces charges in a hit-and-run that killed a friend of his in Bridgeport over the weekend.
Police say 36-year-old Dennis Berrios hit Tyron Tate, of Bridgeport, Saturday night on the 600-block of Noble Avenue and then left the scene of the accident.
Tate's family members say the 21-year-old was friends with Berrios for the past four years. His mother says she is outraged that Berrios is out on bond after being charged in a hit-and-run.
