Departments settle excessive force lawsuit
Five local police departments have reached a settlement with an Easton home owner who claims officers used excessive force in a raid that resulted in the death of his friend.
Officers from a regional SWAT team raided the home of Ronald Terebesi while looking for drugs and guns in 2008.
Police found a small amount of drugs, but never found any weapons.
During the raid, Terebesi's friend was shot and killed by officers.
His family settled a multimillion-dollar lawsuit with police last year.
