As freezing low temperatures are gripping the state for the second day in a row, doctors are warning about frostbite.
Health experts want to make sure you protect yourself by limiting time spent outdoors.
Any exposed skin is at risk for frostbite.
They recommend not skipping out on the scarf, gloves and hat—even if you only have a quick walk to your car.
Signs of frostbite include, feeling cold in the affected area, then feeling warm and losing sensation or becoming numb in the area.
Doctors say if you think you have frostbite, you need to go inside immediately or seek medical assistance.
