Driver critical after Merritt Parkway accident
Authorities say a driver was critically injured today after his car hit a tree on the Merritt Parkway in Greenwich.
Chopper 12 captured exclusive footage of the accident, which happened on the northbound side of the parkway between exits 31 and 33.
Emergency crews, using the Jaws of Life, worked for nearly an hour to get the driver out of the vehicle.
