East Haven's police chief is stepping down.
Chief Leonard Gallo announced this morning that his last day will be Feb. 10.
The chief has come under fire since four officers were arrested for civil rights violations against Latinos last week.
Gallo was suspended in April 2010 when the FBI began its investigation, but was reinstated when the current mayor took office.
