Eversource says it is ready to respond in the event there are power outages caused by storm damage today.
Today's Severe storms pound Connecticut with strong winds, hail with wind gusts exceeding 60 mph, hail, and downpours.
Eversource tweeted saying, "Crews will be pre-positioned around Connecticut and ready to respond. Our warehouses have been replenished with supplies since Isaias, so crews have the materials they need. If you lose power, call 800-286-2000 to report your outage."

Both Eversource and United Illuminating came under fire for their response to Tropical Storm Isaias.
More than 700,000 people across the state lost power, and it took Eversource more than a week to restore power to all of its customers.
The state's Public Utilities Regulatory Authority has launched an investigation into both companies' storm preparedness and response.
PURA held a public hearing on the recent Eversource rate hike earlier this week.
They plan to held several public hearings in October regarding both Eversource and UI's response to Tropical Storm Isaias.
