Stamford Public Schools dismissed early today with temperatures soaring into the 90s again.

According to the district, those 11 schools were let out early because they did not have air conditioning, a decision that drew in a lot of mixed reaction.

While the Stamford Public Schools district says most schools have only partial air-conditioning, there is just not much relief for the students.
According to teachers, Springdale School in Stamford is in the process of installing AC units in classrooms that still need them.
All Stamford Public Schools after school programs are canceled, and high school final exams will go on as scheduled.
