A former narcotics detective charged with stealing drugs from the department's evidence room for personal use has plead guilty to reduced charges.
The Connecticut Post reports Stephen Rilling plead guilty last week to two counts of possession of a controlled substance and three counts of computer crime.
Rilling received a one-year suspended sentence with three years probation.
Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling, who is Stephen's father, denies his son received special treatment.
