A virtual walk is allowing one family to give back to an organization that directly changed their lives forever.
Charlie Capalbo had cancer twice and his brother Will came to his rescue. Now the family is doing an important marathon walk that will end at the Seagrape in Fairfield.
The event is going to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, which is where Charlie and his family were for much of his treatments.
The event will start in Cos Cob and participants will walk 26.2 miles, basically a Boston Marathon, remotely.
The Capalbos say they have already raised $5,000.
