Family and friends are mourning the loss of a Fairfield man who was killed in a car crash in South Carolina.
The University of South Carolina confirms Brian McGrath, 22, who was a senior at the school, was killed before dawn along with three others Wednesday.
McGrath's obituary says he was a Fairfield resident, but he used to live in Ridgefield and attended Ridgefield High School.
Another Ridgefield High alum, Billings Fuess, was also killed in the crash.
