Fairfield police held a press conference Wednesday to tell the media they are scrutinizing abuse claims made by a Fairfield lawyer accused of stabbing his neighbor to death last month.Police say they are working through the molestation part of the investigation to reach a conclusion as quickly as possible. Police Captain Gary MacNamara says detectives are not revealing too much of what they know because the girl in question is only 2 years old. Her age makes the case extremely sensitive, according to MacNamara. One thing police say they are confident of is that Fairfield lawyer Jon Edington,29, stabbed his neighbor, Barry James. According to police, the child told her parents she was afraid of James, who she says ?touched her in the starry nights.? Police say Edington then broke into James? house and argued with him before fatally stabbing him nearly a dozen times.Related Information:Man accused in Fairfield murder-molestation case appears in court
