After an amazing season, the Fairfield American Little League team left the field for the last time at the Little League World Series tonight after a disappointing loss to the California team.
The Fairfield team played the team from Petaluma, California and lost 5-0.
The game was won by Hance Smith with a three-run homer run in the third inning and by pitcher Quinton Gago who struck out seven in five and one-third innings.
