Family members of Lt. Tom McCabe spoke publicly today for the first time since the fallen fighter's death in the line of duty.McCabe's wife and son spoke today of his bravery and gentle soul, while the fellow firefighters of the Lordship Fire Station in Stratford retired his boots and uniform from service to honor the impact he had on the department.A 5K will be held tomorrow by the Lordship Fire Station in McCabe's honor. Proceeds will benefit the Stratford Professional Firefighters Burn Foundation.
