A fatal tractor-trailer crash shut down all southbound lanes on I-95 in Westport Friday, bringing traffic to a halt, state police say.
The incident happened between exits 19 and 18 in the southbound lanes.
State police and the Department of Transportation say all southbound lanes were shut down while they investigated.
Delays were reported as far back as exit 25 in Bridgeport.
Police did not say what caused the crash or if anyone else was injured.
The lanes were reopened, and the scene was cleared around 9:15 a.m.
