Court records obtained today by News 12 Connecticut indicate the father of the three girls killed in a Christmas Day fire is suing the contractor who was working on the house. According to legal analysts, Matthew Badger has filed suit against Michael Borcina, who is also the boyfriend of Badger's ex-wife. The suit claims Borcina jeopardized the home through months of shoddy renovation work. The Shippan Avenue home went up in flames this past Dec. 25, killing Badger's three daughters and the parents of his ex-wife. The suit also names the City of Stamford, whose officials said they will not comment on a pending case. Suit over Stamford Christmas Day fire seeks details on debris
